Our certified instructors are committed to incorporating all of the benefits of yoga to your physical, emotional and spiritual life. We welcome all faiths to our studio, as yoga is a physical and mental practice, where you take it spiritually is up to you!
Our 8-Week Beginner's Yoga programs run throughout the year and offer both a morning and evening series. We also offer Private Yoga instruction for those of you who would like to take your practice further in a one-on-one setting. Our beginner programs will fit your goals regardless of your strength or flexibility. We meet you right were you are.

Our teaching professionals are skilled in presenting routines that will allow you to feel challenged but comfortable in each class. We integrate principals of Kripalu Yoga with postures to build strength and flexibility both mentally and physically. Each class builds on the last. We show you how to breathe for your body linking your breath with movement for a total mind/body experience. Learning to move from "the inside out" will bring passion for your life again and above all, show you that the only person blocking your way is you.
In a class, not only will you get a great workout physically but, in your own way, you will learn to identify the saboteur in your mind and not let it interfere with your health and wellbeing. Emotions play a powerful role in our life and affect the health in our body. When we harness our emotion (energy in motion), we can break out of desires, thoughts and feelings that no longer serve us in a healthy way. We know it's a lot to promise, but all you have to do is show up, we will do the rest!

The 2008/2009 Series Schedule is listed below. Our evening Series are on Mondays and our morning Series are Wednesdays. Classes are 75 to 90 minutes. Students will learn basic, yet highly effective alignment techniques that will not only allow them to do yoga with ease, but will teach them how to apply the fundamentals of yoga in their daily life.
After the first 8 weeks, there is a Level 1A class for 6 weeks. After completing these 2 programs, you will have a basic foundation in yogic breathing techniques, yoga postures and meditation allowing you to take any of the Mixed Level classes on our schedule and/or feel comfortable in any style of yoga outside The Comfort Zone studio.
If you want to try one of our classes prior to registering for a Beginner's Series, please come to one of our "Free" classes for new students to the studio. These classes are held on Wednesday evenings at 7pm on the following dates: 1/23, 2/20, 3/19, 4/16, 5/21, 6/18, 7/16, 8/20, 9/17, 10/22, 11/12, 12/10
