Join Ed on a journey to be physically, emotionally and spiritually fit as you explore the beautiful Cape Henlopen State Park for a program filled with new age methods and techniques to bring your own personal fitness/workout/yoga program to the next level.

Ed's Flexibility For Athletes programs are designed to train your body more efficiently without creating injury. Our training program incorporates optimal performance strategies drawn from the traditions of yoga and specifically tailored for the fitness enthusiast or athlete. We blend a unique style to integrate the aspects of yoga into sports enhancing speed, endurance, strength, flexibility and balance. Ed is a Master of incorporating advance yoga breath work into western sports.

By creating more honesty in your fitness routine, folks don't steal from the body what it's not prepared to give you. We harness the wisdom of the body by using basic, intermediate and advanced yoga breathing techniques in cardiovascular exercise to raise energy levels organically and then synchronize and enhance brain function.

You will learn:
- Basic understanding of the body's energy systems
- How our present mind reacts to what the DNA of the body is trying to communicate to the judging mind every second of training and how to change that now
- Advanced breath work and how to sequence the breathing techniques into your present cardio program
- Sun and Moon Salutations flow yoga postures in the great outdoors
- The science of rotations: twisting and rotating the spine is a science all to itself
- Basic and intermediate anatomy and physiology that the recreational and competitive human being should know (autonomic nervous system, respiratory, cardiac and neuromuscular systems, digestive system, brain wave functions, etc.)
- Walk, run, hike, isometrics, plyometrics, calisthenics and moving meditations using imagery, visualization, intention, manifestation techniques
- Tools to be in an altered, creative, spacious mind in training and racing
- Proper mental approach training, health program first, fitness program second, and if your competing third

This program will be held outside as much as possible to connect students to your own personal power athletically and the balancing powers of nature. The State Park is 7000 acres of beaches, forestry, trails and dunes that bring a relaxed high energy to your perception of our body/mind systems.

Program open to health and fitness club members who want to learn how to use yoga other than as a stretching routine, teachers/trainers/doctors who want to expand their knowledge of the yoga and fitness paradigm.

About Ed
Edward Harrold is a studio owner of Comfort Zone Center for Whole Self Health in Delaware, a Director of Yoga & Sports Training for The Kripalu Institute For Extraordinary Living and originator of the Flexibility For Athletes® program. He leads programs and workshops and has released a series of instructional DVD's and Video Podcast workouts. To register for a workshop, complete this form along with payment in full to Comfort Zone Center For Whole Self Healing. Workshops must be paid in full by the day of the workshop or your registration is cancelled.

Comfort Zone Center does not confirm registration. Once registered, you will receive information about your program in the mail from us. You will be contacted again only if the workshop you have chosen is full.

If you're registering for a 6 or 8-week series, we will make allowances for 2 make-up classes per Series. You can make-up the missed classes in any of the classes on our walk-in schedule. These make-up classes MUST be used within the dates of your particular series.

Comfort Zone Our dorm style living is a 3 bedroom condominium with single beds in each bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, living room, dining area and full kitchen, cable television. We provide bedding and basic bath linens. You will need to make your own bed. There is no daily housekeeping service.
