Comfort Zone Center for Whole Self Healing is a registered school with Yoga Alliance led by Directors Ed Harrold & Wendy Harrold. As a registered school, Comfort Zone Center offers the 200-hour Whole Self Yoga Teacher Training, the 50-hour Flexibility For Athletes Training & the 25-hour Breath Intensive Training. All of our trainings are grounded in the traditional principles of hatha yoga, pranayama and ayurveda.

Our trainings serve the following communities: yoga, fitness & athletics, health care, psychotherapy and spiritual seekers. Armed with knowledge of a 5,000 year old tradition, we guide you in the application of this ancient system in today’s modern world.
200-Hour Whole Self Yoga Teacher Training
This training is an awareness – based experience, founded on the philosophies of the Yoga Sutra, the practices of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the teachings of Swami Kripalu. Whole Self Yoga will immerse you in the Classical yoga system drawing from the ancient yoga teachings combined what it means to be in unity with all aspects of our being or the “whole self”; mental, physical, emotional & spiritual.
We offer a comprehensive yoga teacher training, designed and tailored to meet the 200-hour yoga alliance criteria. It is Yoga Alliance approved and upon graduation, you will be a 200-Hour Certified Whole Self Yoga Instructor.
Training is offered as a 10-month Intensive weekend format. We offer 2 trainings per year.
March 2012 Training
Begins March 30, 2012
Pendle Hill Retreat Center, Wallingford, PA
50-Hour Flexibility For Athletes Training. Inspired and amazed by the effects of yogic breathing, Ed explored and mastered weaving them into his athletic background. He began to uniquely sequence basic, intermediate and advanced forms of Pranayama to facilitate Inspiratory Muscle Training. Ed found a way to fuse the worlds of yoga and sports in a revolutionary way. He brings yogic breathing, Cross-patterning yoga and meditation into the western sports paradigm either as a primary training tool or hybrid within an athletic environment.
This training certification offers Ed’s cross-patterning sport specific yoga and pranayama as a hybrid within the fitness and athletic training environment. It’s appropriate for yoga teachers, personal trainers, coaches and individual athletes looking to improve performance.
It’s perfect as a standalone training or as a compliment to any 500-hour yoga training or current personal training certification.
Training is offered as a 2-month Intensive weekend format, 5-day OR 10-day format.
2012 Training TBD
25-Hour Breath Intensive Training. In this training, awaken your mind and body to the power of breath. The Breath Intensive is specifically designed for professionals and practitioners who want to learn the science of breathing. This curriculum will empower participants to understand, instruct and execute a basic, intermediate and advanced pranayama practice for yourself and/or your clients with added instruction on using these techniques within a fitness, health and weight loss environment.
The Breath Intensive offers the perfect compliment to any 200-hr or 500-hr yoga training or as a standalone training in any yoga center, health care institution or fitness club.
Training is offered as a 3-day Intensive, 2-month Intensive or 5-day format.
