The ancients believed that yoga stretching, walking and swimming were the optimal activities in preventative medicine. Yogi's taught that these three exercises detox the body/mind most effectively. Taken from Ayurvedic/yoga texts, these foundational teachings are anchored in preventative healthcare (not incurring illness). In this weekend, Ed will teach you the fundamentals of bringing advanced yogic breathing into a walking routine and into your home yoga practice.
So, if you 1) want to start a custom fitness routine that's for everyone... even hardcore athletes, 2) are looking to energize the body and move beyond the limits you have put on yourself mentally, 3) are in a walking club or group and need something to spice up your current routine, 4) want to start a weight loss workout routine but the thought of gyms and intense fitness classes intuitively don't feel quite right for you... this is the program for you.
Come join Ed as you explore Cape Henlopen State Park for a walking experience as he introduces his Flexibility For Athletes techniques in a gentler fitness routine. This NEW Workout harnesses the wisdom of the body by using basic, intermediate and advanced yoga breathing techniques. Then, come back to the studio where Ed will combine the best of yoga: breath, postures, relaxation and meditation to create positive feelings and results to any and all of your workouts.
Learn these breathing techniques and design a customized workout to meet you where you are right now.
You will come away from this program with:
- Stretching sequencing that opens the rib cage and restores the natural curvature of the spine creating more positive, stress free mindfulness.
- Nasal yogic breathing sequences to designed to maximize walking and hiking
- Improved positive mental concepts based on a science/spiritual workout
No previous yoga experience is necessary. Daily walks practicing techniques as a group in the beauty of Cape Henlopen State Park. Walking trails and maps available pre and post program hours for longer walks. All pace levels welcome.

By Registering for a class, you agree to adhere to our policies as outlined in this form and on our website.
To register for a workshop, complete this form along with payment in full to Comfort Zone Center For Whole Self Healing. Workshops must be paid in full by the day of the workshop or your registration is cancelled.
Comfort Zone Center does not confirm registration. Once registered, you will receive information about your program in the mail from us. You will be contacted again only if the workshop you have chosen is full.
If you're registering for a 6 or 8-week series, we will make allowances for 2 make-up classes per Series. You can make-up the missed classes in any of the classes on our walk-in schedule. These make-up classes MUST be used within the dates of your particular series.

Our dorm style living is a 3 bedroom condominium with single beds in each bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, living room, dining area and full kitchen, cable television. We provide bedding and basic bath linens. You will need to make your own bed. There is no daily housekeeping service.
